Health reform leaves Americans split, confused

NEW YORK (Reuters) - The overhaul of the healthcare system is being hailed in political circles as the biggest health policy change in four decades, but President Barack Obama's landmark reform has left some Americans divided and confused.

"I don't know about it," Kathy Ivcich, 53-year-old Health Secretary Kathleen Sebelius (seh-BEEL'-yuhs) says she's confident the House will have the votes to pass President Barack Obama's health care legislation — possibly by Friday.

Sebelius spoke Tuesday in Chicago at a conference on aging.

Her remarks come as the Biden says health reform closer than ever despite 'all the shouting' and political 'turmoil'

Vice President Joe Biden said Thursday the nation has never been closer to substantial health care overhaul despite "all the shouting and all the political turmoil" of recent weeks.
